Job Description & RequirementsOpportunity:
\nSonographer - Cardiac Sonographer
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures according to physician orders
\n• Complete studies in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards
\n• Work every Saturday with one weekday night on-call requirement
\n• Must have 2+ years of sonographer experience
\n• Registered Echo/Vascular Sonographer certification required
\n• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA)
\n• Must be able to perform Echocardiograms with Definity Contrast
\n• Must perform Echo and Vascular studies including TTE Echocardiograms, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, Thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams
\n• Able to start own IV required
\n• MediTech experience required
\n• Work with current equipment including 3 Philips CVX Epiq machines, 1 Philips Ellite Epiq machine and Vasculab ABI machine
\n• Assist physicians in performing radiology procedures
\n• Follow on-call policy by responding within acceptable time-frame and arriving within 30 minutes
\n• Maintain supplies and equipment according to department guidelines
\n• Follow dress code and appearance policies
\n• Participate in required hospital and department in-services and meetings
