Litigation Attorney

The attorney will work with the healthcare team on a range of commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of litigation experience. Experience with regulatory compliance is beneficial, but not required. Prior law firm or federal clerkship experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on commercial litigation matters involving healthcare-related businesses and issues
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and briefs, and support case strategy
• Participate in motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and hearings when appropriate
• Manage case deadlines and multiple client matters while maintaining responsiveness and precision
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive service

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of litigation experience
• Federal clerkship or law firm experience strongly preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to clarity and detail
• Excellent academic credentials
• Ability to effectively manage timelines and competing priorities
• Commitment to high-quality client service and collaborative work
• Admission to the Michigan bar is required
