We are seeking in-house counsel to litigate a large collections pipeline with a small legal team by pursuing deficiency balances for defaulted customers. As such, we need a qualified counselor to effectuate judgments and garnishments through District Court.

A good candidate will be a licensed attorney in the state of Montana and well versed in federal and state collections law. You will need to be able to draft and review legal pleadings and occasionally travel to appear in court on the company's behalf. This position will be Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.

The right candidate will:

1. Possess a Montana Bar Card.

2. Have a working knowledge of Federal and State collections laws.

3. Be a team player, ready to collaborate well within the department.

4. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Have a clean driving record (for insurance purposes).

6. Be knowledgeable of Microsoft, Google suite, (Clio is a plus)

7. Be able to defend counter claims and litigate cases to the benefit of the company.

8. Be adaptable to change.

9. Possess the ability to multitask.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
