Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to daily office operations while supporting key administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities: - Organize and maintain electronic documents, ensuring proper filing and accessibility. - Perform shredding of sensitive materials in accordance with company policies. - Manage scheduling and maintain calendars for meetings, appointments, and events. - Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system with professionalism and accuracy. - Scan, sort, and file documents to ensure proper record-keeping. - Prepare and stuff envelopes for mailing tasks and correspondence. - Confirm appointments and coordinate schedules with clients or team members. Requirements - 3+ years of administrative experience in law firm settings - Proficiency in handling electronic documents and file management systems. - Experience with shredding equipment and document disposal procedures. - Demonstrated ability to manage calendars and coordinate schedules effectively. - Strong communication skills for managing multi-line phone systems. - Familiarity with document scanning and organizational tools. - Attention to detail in preparing, stuffing, and organizing mailing tasks. - Ability to confirm and manage appointments with a high level of attention to detail.
